A bomb

Ok, so some days ago I had fallen asleep when the biggest BOOM sounded and at the same time the whole building shook. Johan woke up, like me, and we both understood this wasn't just a new years eve pyro (which some stupid kids already blow up). But still we didn't know WHAT blew up and where. In september someone threw a hand grenade in to a night club just below us and maybe this was  the same? Well, 15 minutes later the fire dpt had arrived and I could see it was the same club attacked again. This time though it was a much bigger detonation according to the police and all the windows of the building and surrounding buildings were broken. Took them all day after to clean up the mess and well, I was scared all night and couldn't fall asleep.

To live so close to the clubs is quite annoying as it is with all the drunken people and music being played loud BUT to have to worry about what will blow up next time is almost to much. 

I sure hope the police gets these guys so this can stop OR that the club closes down once and for all cause clearly someone hates that place…

Here´s yesterdays workout

So, here´s the workout I did yesterday at the gym

10 minutes warm up on the cross trainer

Then:

tabata 8 x 20 seconds where I variated with burpees and walking up and down on a box jump box

After that:

 -pull ups in the pull ups machine: 3 times 10 reps

-Russian kettle bell swings with 16 kilo 3 x 10 reps

kettle bell get ups with 10 kilo 3 x 5 reps

shoulder presses with 7 kilo dumbbells 3 x 12 reps

flies with 5 kilo dumbbells 3 x 10 reps

stomach exercise with pilates ball (see my instagram for how to do these) 3x 7 reps

Then cross trainer 10 minutes as a cardio

New gym - new exercises

So I´ve gone back to my old gym where I always exercised some years ago and I love to be back! I love that I can do lots of different cardio on cross trainers, bicycles, lift lots of heavy weights AND go to classes (something I missed these last months).

Yesterday I did a lot of weights with lifting like clean & jerks, thrusters, dead lifts and pull ups and then today 30 min cardio on the cross trainer. 

My body is soar but I LOVE IT!

Oh and my best friend from school is a personal trainer there so it was extra fun meeting her there=)

Chocolate protein balls

Hi all and happy Sunday!

Finally xmas is calming down and life gets back to normal=)

I did these yummie chocolate balls yesterday and filled them with protein for extra strength 

Take fresh medjol dates (appr. 8-10 of them) and mix to a soft paste. Add gluten free oats, vanilla protein powder (I use from MM Sports) , raw cacao, sugar free fiber syrup and cold coffee. Then make balls and roll in almond flakes and put in the fridge. Serve cold.

YUM!

A relaxed xmas

Hi all and sorry for my absence but I am really resting this xmas and taking it easy doing as little as possible=) Well, I exercise of course and eat yummie stuff and is with my boys and thats the perfect x-mas for me. No stress, sleeping a lot, taking naps and eating some candy and such. I even ate a fatty pizza yesterday and it was SO delicious!

Today I´ve been to my "old" gym and will start working out there from now on. Its not crossfit gym but a regular gym and this is straight across the street from my house so perfect distance! If you want todays exercise tip check out my instagram where I posted a thruster for you today.

Victorias secret

I picked up something nice for myself for xmas at Victorias secret in Tel Aviv´s airport=) Love this coconut spray and the body lotion too. And the make up pouch fit me so well with color and leo inside=)

Titans of metal

Hi all and sorry for my absence but the trip to Israel was a bit exhausting with lack of sleep and so on and then I came home and the x-mas fixing needs to be done but today I have some time to blog again=)

So, Israel - what a fun trip and how exciting to sing for you all! Full house and so many incredibly talented singers and musicians that came together to make a wonderful concert for such amazing fans! Had a blast and well, we didn't have time to rehearse the songs and that of course was a bit nervous but we still made a great night. Some notes that wasn't perfect, the tempo in Amaranth was extremely fast and I had to work hard to get the choruses together but all in all I am pleased and happy with my performances. Live sets are not meant to sound like the albums but to give a great show and we all did!=)

I hope we can do this show in other places and they are working on that so if you want us to come to your venue contact Prog state productions and say so.
