I am ill since yesterday, but that doesn´t matter since my friday started out so brilliantly!
My manager tells me that we will finally be able to get a deal with my own book about my years in Nightwish. I´ve kept a diary throughout the years and now it seems like we will be able to make my very very own bookdeal;=)

That is very good news! I hope it will be a nice thing to read. I also hope that we will still have a good opinion of the band no matter what, even though truth is preferable =) Of course as I read this, I immediately thought about Nighwish official biography, the one they released after Tarja left. It didn't particularly blame her - she also had her word to say, so I hope it will be the same kind of book. However, I guess things went better between you and Nightwish than between Tarja and the band... Well, we'll see!

wow your own book *_* I think it's great and your book will be an inspiration for your fans, people that was bullied and the people that wanna be in the industry of the music , I love the music and the Bass .. Just want to say, NW book.. probably a bad idea. Majority of the fans (except the handful of ones on your blog) are against it.
Some are saying it is making you look greedy, squeezing every cent out of the name Nightwish.
Others say it's childish as no doubt it will contain drama and everyone is so sick of drama.
So just wanted to say the majority of fans who heard the news are against the idea, go look around youself if you like.

Congratulations for the book! I don't think it'd bring anything negative to your life and career. We already have a book that clearly shows how the life on road is on a male perspective, and it's good to have one coming from a female member of a metal band. It sure will be very informative and entertaining for everyone, specially young female singers.

This is definitely interesting news. I hope it gets published. I'd like to read your experiences with Nightwish. I know how hard it must have been since the fan base had seemed to split when you joined. I admired your tenacity for sticking through thick and thin from all that.
As a fan, I am a bit concerned, though. Some people have jumped to conclusions that you'll be bashing Nightwish. I hope that's not the case. I'm just worried, that's all.

Hi anette..thats great news....i don't think you'll bash Nightwish...u have too much Class..... its just not u...but i think will be a good book about all really amazing experiences with touring and writing and recording experiences....maybe a few conflicts in the band that were probably resolved....and maybe about all the tarja fans bullying u........

Hey Anette, Hope you are better about the ill, in this lasts days of preganancy is better stay always in good helth. Yesterday I went to the hospital in the midle of the night because i had a strong pain in my belly ): But I'm totally fine now... But I hate hospitals...
I think is a interesting idea the book, but dont you think that first should be better focous in your solo career? You know, there is a lot of people that follow Nightwish members even if they do a plan to kill the Queen ( just a crazy exmple hahahaha), and well, and this lot of people always get bad interpretation about everything that someone else says. And maybe with a solo first you can get a better and faithful audience? I read in internet and some people thinks that your book will only contain drama and speak evil things of the band members. I know that this is not the point because i belive that you will never do this, that your book will speak about bullying with fans the rockstar life even when you fell a normal girl... But arent better you wait some years to relese this? you work in your solo, and I heard a lot of good coments about your last solo songs that we can hear on the web. And then speaks more than your nightwish years, but your rebirth and growth outside the band.
Dont understand me wrong please, I really love you and I'll always love you andd follow you!You give me inspirations to do things that some people said that I wasn't possible. Biut this is my troughts about it. Hope you tought a little bit better about it, but if not well, I'll stay always in your side my angel :)

I hope that putting the book together is enjoyable and cathartic for you, dear Anette. I'm sure that it will be a very good read.
All the same, I'm hoping that it won't say a huge amount about the split from Nightwish. The band is very careful not to comment about the reasons for the split in their interviews, saying they want to keep it private - I guess maybe they learned from the Tarja drama? I'm assuming that you have been following the same policy and will continue to do so? I mean, sure, I'd like to know, but satisfying fan curiosity is less important than keeping drama out of the lives of the people involved. Maybe this way media focus on the subject will die out sooner and you will be able to keep the focus on your new projects, musical and otherwise, when you're being interviewed without media always asking about the split.

Btw about the book!? Well, I hope this book was about the good things you had with the band. Well, actually I would disagree if that would be done.
Well I think it's quite unfair that you didn't want to be part of the DVD due to some personal reasons (I believe). So i think to be fair with them, you don't need to get the book released. While we understand that you really wanted to move forward and let go of the past, we just hope you could move forward to by not talking about NW. I mean, for us, it is much better to read more about your upcoming solo album! It's pretty much interesting and that could simply made everyone's day. :-)
I hope you can post some snippets of the songs in the future. I also hope you could get someone who would help you make your decisions a lot of times to think before posting it in public, you know for taking care of a reputation.
