I've heard about this Tarja colabaration with Within Temptation although this is the first time I've bothered to listen to it despite the fact I love Tarja's solo music! :-D Lol! :-D
I really like the song, especially the end. It´s giute powerful.
But I think it´s a pity that Sharon isn´t useing her soprano anymore. Since 2 Albums shes just singing with a radio-friendly voice.
It´s so sad. Floor Jansen reduces her high voice, Simone Simons decimates it, too and Sharon isn´t using it anymore either. Don´t really like this progression
Oh my god, I love their song!!! And Tarja looks so beautiful, I especially love her hair style. I noticed that she looked exhausted for years after what happened to her in Nightwish, but now she looks so vibrant and lively again. So great that you are giving them a shoutout, Annette.

I still can't shake the feeling that such a duet has so much more potential. Regardless, the song is amazing and I'm still in euphoria from its existence!
It doesn't surprise me that this song does sound really good since the band behind it is Within Temptation ;) It's the same thing with Nightwish. No matter what kind of song they do, I will never get disappointed :)
I LOVE Within Temptation, and I love Tarja's voice (altough I'm not too much into her solo stuff - first album was excellent, her other works have been a bit boring since then), but this song... Don't know, it doesn't convince me. It sure is nice, but it lacks... something. Feels to me like most of the potential has gone a bit wasted here.
But looks like I'm part of the minority, judging from the other comments :-D

hard feelings aside (though I know you are one of the most graceful vocalists I know of and don't cary hard feelings... I envy you for that), you and Tarja need to duet... there is so much for in common for you to feel passionate about, yet so much of a difference is you vocal styles that would make a collaboration really unique and interesting (like Tarja's collaborations with Doro were so unique). As a NW, Tarja and Anette Olzon fan, I think it would be a shame not to hear two of my favorite former NW vocalists share a song some day.
