  3. I feel so, so sad about this! How tragic is to hear a thing like this one more time.
I just wish that the God guide their spirits to the light and may His light can only comfort and guide their families from today and so on.

  6. I don't have children, but I understand and share the pain of all those parents. They leave their kids at the school, and they don't go back home anymore. Heartbroken. And I hope the families of the teachers and enployees who died can overcome their loss

  7. Anette, thank you for your comment. As an American, I can truely say our whole country is in mourning. And seeing comments like yours from around the world is very comforting. As a paramedic/firefighter I have had unfortunate expiriances of having to be called upon in the unexpected deaths of children, and believe me, there is no greater horror. I hope everyone reading your blog will take some time to say a prayer for all those involved, as their lives will never be the same.

  8. It's a horrible tragedy! I'm still at a loss of words. And on the other end of the world (in China) has happened another school attack also yesterday...

To have these young lives snuffed out so tragically is a commentary on the sad state of our society and our misplaced priorities. Such a senseless act of violence can never be understood.

  9. This was such a tragedy and I can only hope the US government finally realise that they must have stricter gun control. I live not far away from Dunblane in Scotland where this happened years ago and it's been the only time it has ever happened in the UK. Our gun laws have prevented anything like this ever happening again. How many children have to die before something is finally done?
My thoughts and prayers are with the families of those who lost their lives in such a terrible event. God Bless.

  10. It's so horribly tragic what happened here, and unfortunately it happens far too often as well. I hope that the US will realise that their gun owning policy is far too liberal, and that it should be more restricted.
Personally I think it's so wrong that people have such easy access to weapons, I am very much against it.
My heart goes out to the poor families who have lost their children. It's the most tragic thing that can happen to you as a parent, and just before Christmas as well.

  12. My heart is broken for those children whose innocent lives and dreams were taken so suddenly and violently and also for their families who have to live with the grief that is beyond comprehension.

  13. Oh my God!!! I just read about it...i'm so, so sad about this tragedy, can't understand HOW CAN SOMEONE KILL innocent little children? Why this idiot needed to kill them?? Thats horrible lost for all the world... I read that he killed his father and mother (she was the teacher) this day. I know I can't judge him, but had he a heart inside? I am not sure...

  14. It is such a tragedy, especially because it was children's lives being taken. I can't imagine how those famillies must be feeling right now - no parent should have to bury their own child. Our hearts and prayers are with them.

  15. What a tragedy... How could do wake up in the morning and think "Let's kill some innocents children today!"
    This is insane!
And he killed himself just after, it's unfair! Its too easy, he deserved to be judged and put in jail and sorry but being tortured.

And this morning on the TV they said that after that tragedy 70% of american refuse the law about arms to be change. What's wrong with them ?

We live in a crazy world

  16. Anette,
Thank you very much for your condolences. I live in Connecticut and work in a daycare 2 towns away from Newtown. I cannot even imagine what I would do if someone came to my workplace and did something like this.

  18. Hi Anette,

Need to leave another message for you and everyone else.
To everyone: Although there was a tragedy here in the U.S. There was another tragedy in China where 22 children and an elderly woman were stabbed outside an elementary school the same day of Sandy Hook.
I believe not only should we remember the victims who died in Connecticut but the ones in China as well. Many children are in critical condition and hopefully they will be alright.
Just because it was not here does not mean we should ignore the lives of other victims and children.

  19. Let's pray for their kindest souls and for their parents, who are going through the worst a person can ever feel. So sad these things keep happening.
